Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Bulldog Winch Heavy Duty Recovery Strap with reinforced loop ends. So this is going to be a great strap for any kind of recovery operation that you might have. This has pretty much no stretch. It just has less than 5% of stretch, so it's going to work out well for any kind of recovery application where you might be using a winch or you need an extension.

You can see the reinforced loops on either end or a nice wide loop, so you can get this attached to a secure point. You can loop it back on itself if you have to. It should be able to accommodate most needs. It has a very high break strength of 40,000 pounds, but you always want to go off of the safe working load limit, which is a third of that. That would be 13,300 pounds, 13,300 pounds, safe working load limit there.

So you always want to go off of that lower number just to be safe.Let me give you a measurement on this reinforced loop, just for fun here, just so you can know about how much room you have to work with. Measures just about 12 inches long whenever it's flattened out like this. Of course it does stretch and move around, but I just wanted to give you an idea of how much space you have there. It measures four inches wide, so from edge to edge, four inches. Then the total length is 30 feet long.The nice thing about this is that it does have those reinforced loop ends.

We'll have this protective sleeve going around that loop end. It's sewn in place, fold it back over on itself so it's going to be nice and durable, have good longevity out of the strap. Then we'll also have a pad a little further in to protect anything that we might be wrapping around, whether that's a tree or a branch or something like that or our pitch or anything else. We'll be able to protect that from any scratches from our strap and also protect our strap from getting frayed or damaged as well. So just a little extra protection.

That's going to be the same on both ends. The middle will have the other end there and you can also see that there's this keeper strap, so that helps to keep everything nice and tucked away and tidy so it's not going to be flapping around in your truck bed or in the backseat of your vehicle or anything like that. It keeps everything nice and organized. This is actually sewn in there, so it's not anything that you have to worry about remembering to keep track of. It's just sewn right into the strap, right into that hook or right into the loop seam there so it'll stay in place and keep everything nice and bundled up.Something else that I like about this is that even though it's a very durable strap made of heavy duty polyester, it's pretty lightweight. It only weighs about eight pounds, so it's not going to be anything that's really heavy that you have to haul out of your truck to get in place. So, definitely a nice benefit there. Of course, comes in this nice blue color, very eye catching. It looks good and should give you years of good service.
